Who we are
Jacob Werenko, Co-Founder & co-owner
A native New Mexican and a firm believer that family is paramount to creating a life of purpose, Jake Werenko gave Dripline shape with his engineering, construction, and design background. A lover of downtown Albuquerque, the diversity of New Mexico, the Count of Monte Cristo (and also a Monte Cristo sandwich!), the family turtle Timothy Louise, you’ll often find him waking up in the woods with his friends and family.
When not at Dripline, you can find Jake on an adventure with Gui and their families, preferably somewhere that involves campfire biscuits, ribs, and a midafternoon hike.
Gui dupont, Co-Founder & co-owner
Born in the south of France, Guillaume Dupont, or as friends call him, Gui, knows a thing or two about great outdoor spaces and garden games after traveling the world. A family man and a lover of great beer gardens, Gui was determined to build a space in Albuquerque that was accessible for families, gave adults a chance to unwind and enjoy the New Mexico sun, and find a little time to play a game or two.
He loves a bratwurst, a west coast IPA, and his dog Gunnison is often his sidekick. When not at Dripline, you can find Gui exploring New Mexico with his family, and chances are Jake and his family are not far behind.
michael Baca, General Manager
Originally from California, Michael quickly fell in love with the food, the people, and the community in New Mexico. His idea of a perfect day includes sharing a great cup of coffee with a friend, watching Manchester United win a big football match, and then celebrating with a few beers. A fan of Cubanos and crisp lagers, Michael has a deep love of building community and hospitality.
He loves cornhole and the The Cure, and when he’s not at Dripline, he’s probably at home getting caught up on all the football he missed.
Gunnison, mascot & resident pup
Meet Gunnison or as we like to call him, Sunny. He’s Dripline’s resident pup and can often be seen running alongside Gui.
